David Aronovitch hails from the land of the True North, strong and free - Canada. Born in the cultural and financial metropolis of Montreal, David’s family later moved west toward the Canadian Rockies. He grew up riding horses, going to rodeos, and playing hockey in Calgary - the economic center of the petroleum world, not to mention cattle and wheat.
After graduating college, David did a stint at Salomon Smith Barney with a stock broker team specializing in the Boeing Company Savings Plan. However, David would later have a change of heart and pursue a career in public education. After a few fulfilling years of creating and sharing knowledge, he realized his aspirations extended beyond teaching in the classroom and revisited the securities industry. While attending business school he applied to UBS Financial Services and was selected into their highly competitive and nationally renowned New Financial Advisor training program. Thereafter he managed a multi-million dollar book of business as a financial advisor at JP Morgan Chase.
Eventually corporate politics, mandatory edicts, and steep quotas of the gigantic bank hindered David’s clear vision of the good work he wanted to do for retail investors. Enter Rose Greene. “I found an extraordinary woman and great advisor who gets more joy in helping her clients and seeing their success then she does her own.” Hence, Rose Greene’s greater focus on relationships, more meaningful financial work for clients, and her capability to tap traditional and hard-to-reach capital markets just as efficiently as the world’s largest banking and investment corporations is what drew David to her practice. As Rose’s LPL Registered Sales Assistant, David conducts daily economic, market, and asset class research, assists with financial plans, and works on new business development. Additionally, he serves as a point of contact for all of Rose’s clients, strategic partners, and investment sponsors.
David has a BA in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach and has completed two academic years of graduate level coursework leading toward an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations through LPL Financial along with his California Life & Health license (CA Insurance # 0F24369).
David adores his family and friends and works very hard for the people he gets to know. When he’s not in front of a trading screen or business journal he is usually out and about in his neighborhood of West Hollywood picking out fresh produce at the Original Farmer’s Market with his girlfriend, scooping up spicy tuna poke at Bristol Farms, or jogging through the Hollywood Hills with a couple of Weimaraners.
